It's time for our first official spring training ride! Whether you are an experienced cyclist or just want to learn how to clip in to your pedals and change gears, this will be a great ride. There's a little something for everyone scheduled.
The day will consist of a 45 minute talk on how to ride in a group and in pace lines, followed by a 1-2 hour training ride. The ride will consist of a 10 km loop on low traffic roads. In this loop there is enough space for training and education (experienced riders paired with novice riders) as well as distance to take off and stretch your legs. The distance you wish to ride is up to you!
Please arrive promptly at 8:45AM!! Bring everything you need to ride in to the Sports Center Meeting room "B". This includes including bikes, helmets, shoes, water bottles, etc....By doing this we can start our training ride immediately following our talk on group riding. We should be completely wrapped up by 12:00.
This is a great event to learn to ride, have your RTCC questions answered and do some team bonding as well!
